New Prime Minister Liz Truss, who shares photos of her baking and selfies with celebrities among official work photos, is said to be so obsessed with the sharing app photos that his aides at the Department for International Trade joked that he worked for the "Department for Instagramming Truss"

For most people, Instagram is the social platform where they escape from the seriousness of the world. It used to be filled with hand-picked comics from people, with vacation photos, delicious food, and filtered selfies.

But the world has changed, and so has Instagram, with many politicians flocking to the photo-sharing app to share their highlights from campaigns, government trips abroad and, still, weird selfies .

That includes our new Prime Minister Liz Truss, who is said to be a big fan of the app. So much so that his fellow MPs have dubbed the Department of International Trade, the "Department for Instagramming Truss" in a nod to his regular photo updates.
