Rishi Sunak became the UK's third Conservative Prime Minister this year on October 25, following the resignation of Liz Truss after just 44 days in office.

In the first leadership contest, which ended on September 5, Mr Sunak and Ms Truss fought for the post of Prime Minister after Portsmouth North MP Penny Mordaunt was ousted of the race.

In the second leadership contest of the year, which ended on October 24, Mr Sunak became the next prime minister by reaching over 100 participants by 2 p.m., with Ms Mordaunt losing the competition for the second time.

However, this is not the first time that Mr Sunak has lived in Downing Street with his adorable pooch, as the Sunaks lived at 11 Downing Street when the new Prime Minister was Chancellor of the Exchequer.

The family then left the famous address in July after Mr Sunak resigned as Chancellor.
