Will Pitch Perfect: Bumper In Berlin have a season 2 at Peacock?
If you love the absurd, over-the-top musical comedy of the "Pitch Perfect" movies, its goofy situations and characters, and its aca-catchy jukebox musical numbers, you owe it to yourself to watch "Bumper in Berlin."
Our own Barry Levitt commented on "Bumper in Berlin" and called the series a "simple and airy" comedy with "enough charm to make it a pretty decent addition to the franchise".
It looks, for better or worse, like an early 2000s spin-off, the kind that isn't based on the most popular supporting character with the breakout star, but on the quirky character who popped up a bit, was funny, but never really took off. Bumper isn't a star, but he works well in an ensemble, and "Bumper in Berlin" has great supporting characters, from Sarah Hyland (who is the show's true protagonist) to Borg doing his usual over-the-top routine. Like the "Pitch Perfect" films, the series also has guest stars who steal the stage, including the legendary Udo Kier as the controlling avant-garde director.
The first season of "Pitch Perfect: Bumper in Berlin" airs on Peacock.
