With Aemond Targaryen, House Of The Dragon Has Its First Anime Character

The second child of Viserys "The Walking Corpse" and Alicent "The Likable Cersei", Aemond starts out as the unremarkable younger brother of Aegon's little piece of shit with no political outlook. Sure, he's a brat, but he's not sadistic. At the beginning.

At the end of last week's episode, Aemond had crossed a line when he went ahead and stole/kidnapped Vhagar the Floppy Dragon and claimed him as his own. Following his ordeal/success, he lost his eye in a fight with his nephews, and now he's completely transformed into Kakashi Hatake from "Naruto".

But it's in episode 8 that Aemond becomes one of the best characters in the series. He already has the pearly white hair of a superpowered anime character, joining the ranks of Killua, Inuyasha, Gojo, Kaneki, and Griffith. White hair in anime usually signals that we meet a powerful and usually mysterious or other character who has gone through suffering to be so powerful. Well, that fits perfectly with Aemond, the only child Targaryen in the series to actually accomplish something (even if it was stealing) and then pay the bloody price for it.
