Now you can get this last minute lipstick from Sephora delivered in under an hour from DoorDash

Need a bright red lipstick for a last minute party? It can be at your doorstep upon request.

Wednesday announced another way to get its menagerie of makeup and wellness products delivered to your doorstep: Delivery by .

On Wednesday, DoorDash and Sephora announced that customers could use DoorDash to get products from 500 Sephora stores in the United States and Canada in less than an hour "on average."

"Consumers can now meet their on-demand beauty needs and experience the magic of in-store shopping at Sephora right on the DoorDash app with access to their favorite beauty essentials at in-store prices," says the press release.< /p>

This service is the latest step in getting Sephora products to customers faster. In November 2021, the company launched its own same-day delivery service. A few weeks after that announcement, competing beauty retailer Ulta announced its partnership with DoorDash in select cities.

In September, the company also launched a subscription program for same-day delivery.

Sephora laid off nearly 4,000 workers at the start of the pandemic in 2020. The company is privately owned and has a parent company in the form of luxury brand conglomerate LVMH.

Data from research firm SafeGraph suggests there may be a slower recovery in foot traffic than more affordable beauty stores.
