Zara's Just-Dropped Collab Gives 90s Carolyn Bessette Kennedy

Zara isn't as well known for its designer collaborations as H&M or Target, but that may be because the Spanish retailer wants to hold on until something very special to happen. This is exactly the case with the magnificent new Narciso Rodriguez x Zara collection which has just been released.

"The timeline of Rodriguez's remarkable career spans more than 30 years and encompasses the great fashion movement of minimalism, of which he is one of the principal architects", explained Zara in a press release. "His best-known design, from 1996, was the wedding dress he made for his friend Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, a strappy dress so simple it changed the bridal industry and continues to to be an icon of modern glamour. Yet much of Rodriguez's work improves with time. The 25 garments and accessories of the new Narciso Rodriguez x Zara, all taken from his archives, are proof of that. Good design lives on. ."
