Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky put salt on the wounds of Vladimir Putin by visiting a liberated city.

After his country's troops made a major breakthrough in their attempt to liberate the land from the invading Russian forces, Zelensky traveled to the city of Izium.

Much of it was destroyed, including the entire center of a residential building, despite Russian troops appearing to be on the defensive and using equipment from North Korea and Iran.

In Izium, Zelsnky said: The sight is very shocking but it's not for me."

The president highlighted recent alleged war crimes and atrocities in Ukrainian neighborhoods like Bucha, where bodies were found in mass graves. Some of them were found with gunshot wounds to the head and their hands tied behind their backs.
