The poem’s lyrics detail the emotional and physical burden of anxiety when the mind and heart become separated from other organs. “My brain and my heart divorced ten years ago over who was responsible for how much of a mess I became,” the poem begins.
The next stanza said “Eventually they couldn’t be in the same room with each other. Now my head and my heart share custody of me. I stay with my brain during the week and my heart takes me on the weekends. They never speak.”
The words and timeline of Tatum’s post raised eyebrows with speculation that it might be subtly referencing his relationship with Kravitz. The actor celebrated his 46th birthday a day before posting the enigmatic poem.
