Depending on your location and your predilection for the sport, you would have found today’s research incredibly easy or incredibly difficult.

Considering I live somewhere the NBA barely reaches, I haven’t experienced MARCHMADNESS in its crazy splendor beyond a few clips of last-nanosecond victories that my basketball-loving friend showed me.

Instead, I took the theme literally and looked for types of dances – after “pause” came up empty, I needed major help in the form of clues to help me navigate the board.

What is NYT Strands?

Strands is the not-so-new pun from The New York Times, after Wordle and Connections. It’s now a full member of the year-old NYT games stable and can be played on the NYT Games site on desktop or mobile.
