"Left, Mr. Solomon. No, please leave now.'

The driver in charge of our coach transfer to Al Bayt Stadium for the England vs USA game doesn't seem quite sure of the way - and the Discover tour guide who sits behind him in the front gives him a little help over the PA system. For our greatest pleasure.

I am in Qatar at the invitation of , with the airline hosting MailOnline Travel, providing flights, accommodation and match welcome and revealing how the World Cup can be experienced in VIP mode.

Ted Thornhill is invited by Qatar Airways to watch England v USA at Al Bayt Stadium - VIP style

The journey begins with a gold-plated Boeing 777 Business Class flight from London Heathrow to Doha in the QSuite aptly named Qatar Airways.

I rated this tte cabin in 2019 and gave it five stars out of five.

Same for this flight too. The QSuite with its privacy door, giant screen and monumental square footage blurs the lines between business and premiere - and service is once again the standard of a five-star hotel.
