Angela Rayner is set to be questioned under caution as part of a Greater Manchester Police investigation into the sale of her council house in 2015, according to reports.

The deputy leader of the Labor Party has reportedly been contacted by law enforcement to set a date for when officers could question her over the controversy.

She will be questioned about claims that she broke election rules. law, did not pay capital gains tax and falsely benefited from a reduction in municipal tax for single occupation.
