Becky G apparently responds to Sebastian Lletget cheating rumors at Coachella

Becky G's triumphant debut as a solo actor at Coachella has fans talking for more than one reason. During her performance on April 14, the "Te Quiero Besar" singer apparently opened up about allegations that her fiancé, Sebastian Lletget, cheated on her.

In a video captured by a fan, Becky G can be heard saying, "Sometimes things don't go your way, I'll just say that. But sometimes it's not a rejection, it's a redirect." She then launched into a rendition of her hit song "Mamiii," which is all about starting over after ending a toxic relationship.

The 26-year-old's cryptic words come just weeks after rumors surfaced that Lletget cheated on her. Although Becky G hasn't directly commented on the rumours, the FC Dallas midfielder posted a lengthy statement about it on Instagram on March 27. Without going into details, he alleged an extortion conspiracy and apologized to Becky G.

Lletget wrote, "Over the past few weeks, for a time that I deeply regret, a 10-minute lapse in judgment resulted in an extortion plot. Since this person did not get what 'she wanted has now become a public spectacle on social media filled with more lies than truths and false messages aimed at the love of my life, the one person I should never take for granted or dismiss. hazard."

The footballer went on to add that he had decided to 'engage in a mental wellness programme' in order to work on recovery. "To Becky, you were the light of my life, my strength, who always showed me unconditional love," her statement continued. "Instead of honoring that love every day, I've done the opposite, hurting you and disrespecting the person I love more than anything. I'm so sorry and I know I have to do whatever it takes. Before her remarks at Coachella, Becky G didn't respond to the rumors. However, on the same day Lletget apologized, the "Shower" singer walked the red carpet solo at the iHeartRadio Music Awards, where she won Latin Pop/Reggaeton Song of the Year for " Mamiii".
