Boris Johnson declined to say whether he would continue to ignore pleas from his former Chancellor Rishi Sunak.

The Conservative leadership candidate - whose resignation last month helped spark the cabinet revolt that ended Mr Johnson's premiership - revealed the Prime Minister was no longer returning calls and messages.
