A Briton is deported from Denmark because he did not know that after Brexit he had to apply to stay in the country.
Will Hill, 37, is heartbroken to leave behind his career in cybersecurity and his fiancée, Ida Bøgelund Larsen.
They had planned to marry in the country in January, but now their plans hang in the balance, as Ms Larsen told the Guardian she is "worried, confused and nervous".
Mr. Hill was ordered to leave on Sunday as his request for a reprieve was filed three weeks late and was therefore denied.
He told the Guardian: 'This wouldn't happen to me without Brexit because I would be treated as an EU citizen.'

>Danish MP Mads Fuglede is fighting to end the deportation because he believes it is a violation of the spirit of the Withdrawal Agreement aimed at protecting the rights of citizens of the EU.
Mr. Fuglede took up his case and wrote to the former Home Secretary asking for a change in the law to allow late claims to be considered, as is the case in the UK. p>
However, he fears that the aid will not arrive in time, as the government is in balance after the recent elections.
