Calzedonia organizes an event during Paris Fashion Week

The hosiery, loungewear and swimwear group based in Verona, Italy , plans to hold an event on September 26 called "Calzedomania - A Celebration of Legs," marking the first time she'll showcase her tights overseas, as well as her fashion week debut.

"Calzedomania's surreal vibe will involve guests, a host of international influencers and celebrities in an incredible journey to discover the brand and its iconic style,” said Calzedonia.

The group, which owns brands such as Calzedonia, Intimissimi and Falconeri, has more than 2,150 stores in 53 countries, including 215 stores in France.

Calzedonia has already organized events in Italy, including the Calzedonia Leg Show, held in Verona in 2017 in the presence of Julia Roberts, its brand ambassador at the time. Meanwhile, Sarah Jessica Parker was a guest at her Calzedonia Forever Together summer show in Rimini, Italy in 2013.

Gruppo Calzedonia revealed last week that it was entering the world of luxury with the acquisition of majority stake in Italian fashion brand Antonio Marras. The group achieved a turnover of 2.5 billion euros in 2021, up 29.1% compared to 1.94 billion euros in 2020. Compared to 2019, sales increased by 3.9%.
