Disney+ Schedule December 26-January 1: New TV Shows and Movies

The fourth episode of National Treasure: Edge of History is on the Disney+ schedule from December 26 to January 1.

The streaming service (sign up for Disney+ here) will release the final episode of the National Treasure series on Wednesday, December 28. The series stars Lisette Alexis as Jess, Catherine Zeta-Jones (Prodigal Son) as Billie, Zuri Reed (Flatbush Misdemeanors) as Tasha, Lyndon Smith (Parenthood) as FBI Agent Ross, Jake Austin Walker (DC's Stargirl) as Liam, Antonio Cipriano (Jagged Little Pill) as Oren, and Jordan Rodrigues (Light as a Feather) as Ethan.

Described as an expansion of the Nicholas Cage-directed film franchise, "the series is intended to explore current issues of identity, community, historical authorship and patriotism, told from the perspective of Jess Morales, a twenty-year-old DREAMer who, along with his diverse group of friends, embarks on the adventure of a lifetime to uncover his mysterious family history and rescue a lost Pan Am treasure,” reads the logline.

The series is created by producer of the original films Jerry Bruckheimer in association with the Wibberleys, who are all executive producers. It is a Jerry Bruckheimer Television production with ABC Signature as the studio. The list of executive producers includes the director of the first film, Jon Turteltaub, and Jonathan Littman. Plus, KristieAnne Reed and Rick Muirragui, who is also a screenwriter.
