Elon Musk threatens to sue Twitter employees who break NDAs amid leaks

Elon Musk is tired of all the leaks plaguing Twitter lately. He therefore threatens to enforce the company's NDAs with his staff... at the risk of potential litigation.

Chief Twit allegedly sent an email to employees detailing the ramifications if they were found to be leaking sensitive inside information to the media...this according to Platformer's Zoë Schiffer, who says she obtained a copy of correspondence and quoted from it.

Schiffer says EM's email begins... "As evidenced by the many detailed leaks of confidential information on Twitter, a few people at our company continue to act in a manner contrary to the interests of company and in violation of their NDA."

Elon allegedly went on to say, "This will only be said once: if you clearly and willfully violate the NDA you signed when you joined, you accept responsibility to the fullest extent of the law and Twitter will immediately seek damages. ."

There is a little wiggle room, it seems... as Elon apparently told his fellows that an accidental or occasional mistake was understandable - but also made a distinction between that and what he says happened en masse. . shouting outright at the press.

There was, in fact, a lot of news about how Twitter operated under Elon's rule - with rumors of one of the HQs being turned into some kind of motel, the mass layoffs/attempts to rehire...and, of course, the bogeyman moderation board he plans to install.
