US citizens are being warned to leave Russia as Western leaders brace for a massive escalation of Vladimir Putin.

They fear the tyrant president is preparing for a strike inside Ukraine or an attack on Western interests such as maritime communication cables.

The U.S. Embassy in Moscow told all citizens to leave Russia immediately by any means necessary and warned Putin that he would not respect dual citizenship.

There are fears that dual nationals are being drafted into the war in Ukraine.

Officials have said, "Russia could refuse to recognize the dual nationality of US nationals, deny access to consular assistance, prevent their departure, and enlist dual nationals for military service."

Putin is intent on capturing four disputed regions following his fictitious polls in eastern Ukraine, but he is running out of military options.

One of the fears is a tactical nuclear strike west of Kherson, Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia creating a radiation dead zone to stop Ukraine's response.

It is also possible that Putin used his mobilization of 300,000 poorly trained reservists to convince the West to focus on Ukraine.
