Clips of her partying with Finnish celebrities began circulating on social media this week and made international headlines.

Ms Marin told a press conference today: 'Over the past few days there have been some pretty serious public accusations that I was in a space where drugs were being used, or that I had used drugs myself.

"I consider these charges to be very serious and, while I consider the request for a drug test to be unfair, for my own legal protection and to dispel any doubts, I have been tested of drugs today, the results of which will come in about a week."

Marine, who became the world's youngest serving prime minister in December 2019, faced calls from members of his coalition and the opposition to take a drug test after the broadcast videos.
