Full trailer for Time Travel Heist sci-fi indie film "The Tomorrow Job"

Tomorrow's Job

"I'm stealing information from tomorrow and bringing it back to today." Epic has unveiled the trailer for The Tomorrow Job, a sci-fi thriller independent fiction from filmmaker Bruce Wemple - his seventh feature and most ambitious project. This premiered at the 2022 Other Worlds Film Festival and will soon be available on VOD in January. This time travel movie follows a team of thieves who use a drug that allows them to switch minds with their future in order to steal the secrets of tomorrow. How's that for a crazy, cool sci-fi movie pitch? ! When interrupted at work, the team must correct past mistakes to avoid disastrous consequences. "A dynamic mix of genres, The Tomorrow Job is a high-stakes sci-fi action-adventure epic with heart, humor and fun, and an ode to the comedies of beloved robberies of the past." With Grant Schumacher, Caitlin Duffy, Ariella Mastroianni and Chris Cimperman. It looks a little skinny, rough around the edges, but it might still be worth a look. I love the unconventional purple and green color choices (different from Nolan's blue and red).

Lee (Grant Schumacher) and his team of thieves use a time-traveling drug to swap places with their future selves in order to pull off heists. To operate efficiently and safely, the team has a strict set of rules to ensure limited temporal impact. When interrupted at work, Lee and the team must undo their past mistakes to avoid disastrous consequences and save their future. The Tomorrow Job is both written and directed by American independent writer/filmmaker Bruce Wemple, director of the films Altered Hours, Lake Artifact, Monstrous, The Retreat , Dawn of the Beast, and My Best Friend Died previously. It is produced by Mason Dwinell. This originally premiered at the 2022 Other Worlds Film Festival earlier this month. Epic Pictures will release Wemple's sci-fi thriller The Tomorrow Job in select US theaters on January 13, 2022, then on VOD everywhere starting January 17, soon in the new year.
