Go huge this Halloween with a huge foam Jack-o-Lantern

The desire to make your garden a Halloween spectacle can come from a number of influences. In this case, the inspiration came from a massive septic tank, painted like a pumpkin many years ago.

Instructables user Haunted Spider, fondly remembered this giant decoration for years and has now recreated the splendor from their memory for you to enjoy.

To create this giant Jack-o-lantern, they started by gluing foam rings together. This in itself is a difficult task because some glues and paints dissolve the foam.

After quite a bit of effort gluing and building this hollow structure, it was time to start sculpting, shaping, smoothing, filling, coating hard with glue, then finally painting.
