Heartbreaking trailer for 'Last Light' series imagines a world without oil

Last Light Series

"The worst case scenario is unfolding." Peacock has revealed a trailer for a miniseries titled Last Light, which will air on their service next month. This is described as a series of apocalyptic disasters, although it really sounds like a business as usual concept "we are afraid of change" more than anything. Here is the alarmist speech: "Your family. Your world. What if everything disappeared tomorrow? If society collapsed, how far would you go to save those you love?" So what is causing this disaster? The end of oil. Yes, the thing we must stop using for the health of our planet and our survival as a species is the resource from the series "society will collapse without it" . This is based on the novel of the same name by Alex Scarrow. Last Light follows a petrochemical chemist who discovers that the world's oil supply has been cut off. With Matthew Fox, Joanne Froggatt, Alyth Ross, Taylor Fay, Amber Rose Revah, Victor Alli, Tom Wlaschiha and Hakeem Jomah. I wouldn't be surprised if this series was funded by oil companies who are afraid of change, hoping that the entertainment propaganda might scare people into continuing to use oil.

Petrochemical chemist Andy Nielsen knows how dependent the world is on oil; if anything were to happen to the world's oil supply, it would set off a chain reaction: transportation would stop, supplies would stop being delivered, law enforcement would be overwhelmed. While on a business trip to the Middle East, Andy realizes his worst fears are coming true and his family is separated at this crucial time. His teenage daughter, Laura, is home alone in London while his wife, Elena, and young son, Sam, are in Paris. In the midst of this chaos, each member of the family will sacrifice everything to find each other, despite the distance and the dangers that separate them. Based on Alex Scarrow's bestselling novel of the same name. Last Light is a series with episodes directed by television director Dennie Gordon (director of the Joe Dirt , What a Girl Wants, New York Minute, and especially recent television work including "Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan" and "For All Mankind"). With writings by Patrick Massett, Patrick Renault and John Zinman. Based on the novel "Last Light" by Alex Scarrow. Executive produced by Dennie Gordon, Matthew Fox, William Choi, Sydney Gallonde, Rikke Ennis, Patrick Renault, Diego Piasek, Patrick Massett and John Zinman. Last Light will debut streaming on NBC's Peacock starting September 8, 2022. Anyone want to watch this?
