To be hugely successful, you have to adapt

Winning is adapting, according to Iman Abuzeid, CEO and co-founder of Incredible Health, a platform that aims to help nurses and employers find the best solution in 20 days maximum. Their platform strives to promote retention, high quality care and efficiency. In addition to recruitment, Incredible Health also offers a host of free benefits to its users, including career advice, salary estimators, and continuing education, which is essential for working for nurses across the country.

Two years ago, Incredible Health was present in 200 hospitals. Today, they have tripled in reach and are used by 600 hospitals in 25 states, with a steady enrollment rate of 10,000 nurses per week. Additionally, the company just completed an $80 million Series B funding round. Abuzeid says this growth has been made possible, in part, through social media:

"Charli and Dixie D'amelio have joined this series of investors. They have two of the biggest TikTok followers in the world. We have invested heavily in our social presence in the health sector. because that frankly, that's where you have to engage with them. In particular, millennials and Gen Z nurses are very active on social media. So having a strong social presence has been very important for our growth,” says Abuzeid.

Her advice for other female founders? "At the end of the day, you really have to be very sure of your vision and your mission, and just focus on winning," Abuzeid says. "No one can teach me who I am. You can describe parts of me, but who I am - and what I need - is something I have to figure out myself."
