BBC Sports TV Jennie Gow says she is recovering from a serious vasc accident ular.

The 45-year-old, who covers Formula 1 for Radio 5 Live, wrote on social media that she had been treated in hospitals in London and Surrey, and that her recovery "may take some time".

Ms Gow said the stroke two years ago weeks had affected his speech.

Dozens of other broadcasters and motorsport companies tweeted messages of support.

Announcing her condition on Twitter and Instagram, the presenter said, "My husband is helping me type this as I find it hard to write and my speech is affected the most.

"I am desperate to make a full recovery and return to work.

"Thank you to the teams Frimley and St George's medical es, and to my family and friends who have helped me over the past fortnight."
