Josephine Tewson: Keeping Up Appearances actress dies at 91
Comedic actress Josephine Tewson, who has appeared on television sitcoms like Keeping Up Appearances and Last of the Summer Wine, has died aged 91.
Tewson was best known for playing Elizabeth, Hyacinth Bucket's nervous neighbor in Keeping Up Appearances between 1990 and 1995.
His other sitcoms include Shelley with Hywel Bennett and No Appointment Necessary with Roy Kinnear.
She has also worked extensively with Ronnie Barker, Charlie Drake and Dick Emery.
In a statement, his agent Jean Diamond said: "It's With great sadness we announce the passing of Josephine Tewson."
The actress died Thursday at Denville Hall, a retirement home for actors and other members of of the entertainment industry in North London, Diamond added.
