Keir Starmer has released details of his own tax cases showing income of over £210,000 in the last financial year.
In his role as Labor leader and MP, he earned £126,154 in 2021/22, as well as capital gains of £85,466, according to a summary document.
Labour said the capital gains - on which he paid £23,930 in tax - came from the sale of a property he had bought for his sister and children to live in.< /p>
His total income for the year was £211,620 with a tax payment of £67,033.
Meanwhile, Rishi Sunak's own tax details released around 24 hours earlier showed he had made over £1.6million in capital gains, of which he had paid £325,826 in taxes.
The Prime Minister's income largely came from a US-based investment fund held in a "blind trust".
