According to the Deadline article, Michael Keaton will play the role of John Knox, who is a contract killer with a difficult problem - he has been diagnosed with a "rapidly progressing form of dementia". A tragic diagnosis can trigger major life changes, and Knox reacts to the news by trying to save the life of his estranged son, played by James Marsden ("Disenchanted," "Westworld"). He works against the people who stalk him, but he has to do it before dementia takes away his ability.
