London's unsold arts tickets donated to cut cost of living

Thousands of tickets invented due to cu Cultural events including theatre, comedy and dance will be made available free of charge for those struggling with the cost of living.
The scheme, called The Ticket Bank, will see arts organizations work with charities to distribute tickets.
Charity said it could "completely change" people's lives.
It will be launched in January 2023 for one year. So far, seven organizations have joined the program.
The idea came from Chris Sonnex, the artistic director of Cardboard Citizens, which makes theater for people with lived experience of poverty. p>'Overwhelming'
He said that experiencing arts and culture had a "massive effect" on health and well-being, but that " whole groups of people are excluded because of the price of the tickets".
Tickets will be made available to those who may not otherwise be able to afford them, such as those who use food banks.
