Melissa Barrera in Trailer for Addiction Drama 'Everybody's Sleeping'
“You can do something for the world beyond you…” Gravitas Ventures has unveiled the official trailer for an indie drama titled Everybody's Sleeping , the latest film directed by writer/director Ryan Lacen. This premiere premiered at a film festival in 2021 and finally opens in a limited release with a VOD option also from March. Fighting for her own life and the lives of those she loves, a young New Mexico mother sinks deeper into her addiction while struggling to surface for her daughter. The film "highlights the stigma attached to drug addiction and the seemingly endless cycle that many people struggle with…" Everyone is Sleeping stars Melissa Barrera as Chama, alongside Jackie Cruz, Jorge Garcia, Kristen Gutoskie, Valentina Herrera, Lisandra Tena and Luis Bordonada. It really doesn't sound so bad, an intimate and captivating look at how hard it is to break an addiction and live a clean life. See below.
