A politician slammed online with nasty comments about her looks and past career has hit back at trolls.

Last year Georgie Purcell, 31, was elected as an MP representing the Victorian Animal Justice Party in Australia. However, she has recently been attacked by vile trolls attacking her past as a pole dancer.

These comments come as the politician pushes to end the duck hunt. A vote on the matter is expected to be discussed in parliament in Down Under next week.

Sharing images on Facebook, the MP wrote: “The duck shooters are back with their VERY compelling and not at all misogynistic arguments about keeping their blood sport in Victoria. This is before our final investigative report is tabled in Parliament next week.
