Watch: Oliver Stone's climate change trailer 'Nuclear Now'

Nuclear Now Doc Trailer

"The very thing we fear...is what can save us." Yes indeed, listen to Oliver. He's done his research on it, he knows what's good. Abramorama has unveiled the official trailer for a documentary titled Nuclear Now, the latest feature film directed by prolific director Oliver Stone. This premiered at the 2022 Venice Film Festival last year, where I first saw it and wrote a glowing review for it. A vitally important film for our times, it's more about Stone's urgent documentary on climate change than anything else. It tackles the problems, the propaganda, the people, and delves into the most appropriate solution at the moment - atomic energy, or nuclear. Instead of shutting down and demolishing nuclear power plants we should be building more because yes - nuclear power is the only immediate solution to shutting down all purpose and gas power plants while still producing enough energy to sustain global demand of electricity. This is an outstanding film that covers this topic comprehensively, answers questions, and just might make a difference in saving the world.

Here is the official trailer (+ poster) for Oliver Stone's documentary Nuclear Now, straight from YouTube:

Nuclear Now Poster

Nuclear Now takes viewers on an educational and thought-provoking journey with legendary director Oliver Stone as he explores the powerful impact of nuclear energy. The climate crisis is still unresolved and the volume of carbon-free electricity needed over the next 30 years is almost unimaginable. This film aims to dispel fears associated with nuclear power and highlight the sustainability and affordability it can bring in the continued restoration of the world's ecosystems and economies. Nuclear Now, formerly known as Nuclear, is directed by acclaimed American filmmaker Oliver Stone, numerous films including the documentaries Comandante, South of the Border, Castro in Winter, Mi Amigo Hugo and JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass previously. It is produced by Max Arvelaiz, Fernando Sulichin and Robert S. Wilson. This originally premiered at the 2022 Venice Film Festival last year (read our review). Abramorama opens Stone's Nuclear Now in select US theaters from April 28, 2023. For more information, visit the film's official website.
