The reality encounter genre has always been notoriously straight. But in recent years, as Netflix aired new dating competitions, castings have branched out to bring a lot more sexual inclusivity to TV.

Still, Farago says that when she signed on to "Perfect Match," the producers didn't not informed that she would have the opportunity to date men and women. "I think it was something that I guided during filming," Farago told Variety.

"I reached a point where I wasn't sure I wanted to stay in the house anymore because that I didn't know if there was someone there for me," Farago continues. "I knew who was there, on the men's side, and I was like, 'I don't know if I can waste time to someone by continuing to play with these men that I know I'm not going to get along with. , I discovered that there was a possibility that I was matched with a woman, and I thought to myself, "In that case, I will stay for this." I wasn't even sure it was going to happen because it was a heterosexual show. But I'm glad it happened, and I'm glad that relationship happened as well. I kind of changed the game."
