Averehi said: "It is because young people and others have come out in droves, having developed confidence in the electoral process through the provisions of the electoral law, which have given assurance that their votes will count. .

“They hastily announced the results without regard to reported electoral anomalies and provisions of the constitution which state, ‘and the FCT.’ In the end, we will prevail, the truth will prevail.”
