2023: Support group assures Enugu residents of Mbah development program

The gubernatorial candidate of the Ebeano Volunteer Movement for Enugu PDP, Dr. Peter Mbah assured the people of the state that Mbah was about to carry out massive projects that would lead to a new dawn in the 'State.

The support group, made up of professionals from different walks of life, gave that assurance on Saturday during its campaign and awareness tours in parts of the state.

Insisting that Mbah has the solutions to transform the state and improve the general well-being of citizens, the group said they believe they are committed to creating massive jobs.

Addressing thousands of supporters at Achara Layout, Enugu South Council Area, the chairman of the support group, Mr. Chidera Nwodo promised the people that the kind of development the state would witness under the Mbah's administration would be unprecedented in the country's history.

Nwodo, who said he took the time to dissect Mbah's manifesto and found him to be the best among those vying for the governorship, further added that voting for the gubernatorial candidate of the PDP would be voters best decision.

This, he said, is important, especially at a time when the country is grappling with economic challenges.

According to him, Mbah's wealth of experience and success in the private sector and the fact that he has built his company into a globally recognized leading company in the oil and gas industry within a few years, is a blessing to the people.

He stressed that he would replicate the same in Enugu State, if elected to power in 2023.

Reiterating Mbah's commitment to creating jobs, building new infrastructure such as new functioning hospitals, 10,000 kilometers of roads across the state, attracting investors and boosting the economy through technology and agro-allied industrialization, Nwodo said the state will have no regrets in voting massively for Mbah.

He directed them to continue spreading the message of the good things that are about to happen to the state through the PDP Governorship Flag Bearer.

He further stressed that all votes should be cast for the PDP candidates in the February 23 and March 11, 2023 elections.

For her part, Edge-Cutting Group Secretary Dr Nnenna Ogbonna called on the state electorate to seize the window presented by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as an opportunity to get their cards back permanent voter ( PVC).

Noting that the PVCs are the main instrument through which they can exercise their right to vote, Ogbonna instructed the people to see the upcoming elections as an opportunity to take charge of their collective destiny by voting en masse for the PDP.< /p>

While calling on women to make themselves available for the next elections. She said Mbah's manifesto has made empowering women through seed capital, ease of doing business and commitment very achievable.

Similarly, the Group's Managing Director, Mr. Ifeanyichukwu Nnamani, hailed the massive turnout of people at each visit, saying it was a sign of victory for the party.

He reminded them that the social contract they had executed would continue to yield more democratic dividends through the provision of social services and the reduction of poverty.
