Abiodun will give an MTU convening conference

The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun will deliver the Fourth Convening Lecture at Mountain Top University, Ogun State on December 22, 2022.

Speaking at a press conference announcing the ceremony on Monday, Vice-Chancellor Professor Elijah Ayolabi explained that the school would graduate with 259, adding that the graduation conference diplomas was titled: "Youth as Catalysts". in building Nigeria's future.'

He said: "Tuesday, December 20, 2022 is Graduate Open House, Wednesday, December 21, 2022 there will be a football game at 11:00 a.m., followed by the Vice President's Cocktail chancellor for evening graduate students.

"I am pleased to report that we will graduate with a total of 259 undergraduates. 31 are in the First Class (Honours) category: The College of Humanities, Management and Social Sciences has eleven 11 while the College of Basic and Applied Sciences has 20. For the Second Class (Honours) Upper Division, we have one total of 125 while Lower Second Class (Honours) Division has 93. 10 graduates belong to Third Class (Honours) category.

He added that the first group of graduates would also graduate at the convocation. A total of five pioneer postgraduate students will be admitted to various higher degrees in their respective colleges as follows: Three M.Sc. Microbiology, one M.Sc. Biochemistry and one M.Sc. Finance.

He added that the Center for Genomics and Biomedicine Research at MTU has started full operation with the support of $256,000.00 from the African Academy of Sciences.
