Again, unknown gunmen kidnap the woman, son of the chief of Bauchi village

Some as yet unidentified gunmen, well armed with sophisticated weaponry, invaded the residence of the village chief of Magamin Kano, a border village of Ningi LGA of Bauchi, Alh Bashir Abubakar on Monday and abducted his wife and son towards an unknown destination.

In the process, the gunmen reportedly shot and killed one person while another person was shot in the thigh and is receiving medical treatment at Ningi General Hospital.

It was understood that the traditional ruler was the main target, but he managed to escape, but his wife and son were not lucky enough to escape.
