Starting with the hosts, putting on another serious display over the weekend as they secured a 1-0 win at home to Boreham Wood, there is no doubt Halifax will be looking to capitalize on this success here. Despite seeing their FA Cup adventure ended in a clash at Ebbsfleet earlier in the month, Chris Millington's men are aiming to claim another play-off spot this season. Knowing that three points on Tuesday night would put them within striking distance of the top seven, the Yorkshire-based side enjoy a true purple National League patch. On a run that is highlighted by a 2-0 win over Dagenham & Redbridge on October 22, Halifax have won each of their four previous fifth tier tie-ups by an aggregate score of 6-1.

As for the visitors, while Halifax could benefit from a frantic run on National League homework, the same cannot be said for a struggling Dorking.
