Champions League: This is the trophy I have to win - Guardiola admits
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has admitted his time at the club would not be complete without lifting the Champions League.
City have reached the final of the competition once and also have one semi-final loss and three quarter-final exits to their name.
Guardiola suggested his legacy will be measured by their results in Europe's elite competition.
"I admit that this is the trophy we want, and my period here will not be complete if we do not win it.
"But that's not the only reason why I extended. I will do everything for the club. Of course, that's the trophy we don't have and we'll try to do it.< /p>
“I feel like they will get it sooner or later, we have tried in the past. We will try with all our might,” Guardiola said.
City will face RB Leipzig in the Champions League return in the Round of 16 in February.
