The CIPM inducts 398 professionals

The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management in Nigeria has stated that the organization has a duty to contribute its quota to the development of human capital by making people grow.

President and Chairman of the Board, Olusegun Mojeed revealed this at the 46th induction ceremony in Lagos during an interview with The PUNCH.

The institute has onboarded 398 HR personnel after passing the required certification tests and exams.

Mojeed said: "As an institute, we seek daily to stay relevant, to connect with authority, to open avenues that allow us to make our contribution to the economy. .

"And what is our contribution?" Our contribution is that we make people grow, we inculcate the discipline of work, performance and whatever field you are in. That's what we do."

During his keynote address, he said, "I want to celebrate the HR staff because during the time of COVID-19, when it was at its peak, we were there. We were there for the work we tracked on everyone. Even though the state of the economy is scary globally, there's no better time than now to become a certified HR staff ."
