Foundation to feed and clothe 250 homeless children December

Lagos-based charity Folabomi Foundation on Friday announced plans to feed and clothe 250 homeless children in Lagos in December 2022.

According to the organization's organizer, Folabomi Ogunjimi, in a statement that was made available to our correspondent in Abuja, the foundation has been engaged in a charity project called "ClothingTheClothing" since 2018.

The PUNCH reports that as of March 2022, the foundation had provided the Unified Graduate Diploma Examination forms for 46 female students, while 600 students at Ijesa-Secondary School tedo and Sanya Secondary School were trained in a series of professional workshops organized by the foundation.

In the statement, Ogunjimi described the foundation as "an initiative born out of a passion to serve humanity. Our mission is to create innovative ways to address the societal challenges of the younger generation through citizen participation. Ultimately, our goal is to provide real-life essentials to underprivileged children in and around our community.

"Our team includes a group of passionate and caring young people who are driven by this goal and our mission to ensure that children have access to a good basic education, clothes and fall asleep at night. night with a dream and hope for the future.

Speaking further, Ogunjimi noted that children who had benefited from the projects had been filled with hope for “a better future.”

She said: "From December 2018 to date, more than 850 children living in poor communities and slums have been fed and dressed with new clothes thanks to the #ClothlessClothes project of the FOLABOMI Foundation.

"These children, who would normally wear tattered clothes year after year, remember that they matter, giving them hope for a better future.

Speaking further, Ogunjimi called on the public to support the foundation by making a donation: "The public can join and support the Folabomi Foundation by feeding and clothing 250 less privileged children with new clothes this Christmas.
