Frame your face with well-shaped eyebrows

A younger face is not really jars of "anti-aging" creams and potions. It's the little things that make you look young. Like a cheerful attitude, decent teeth, and a pair of full, well-shaped eyebrows. Get it right - eyebrow growth, cosmetics and professional threading all help - and you'll need less makeup, your face will have more lift and definition and, in the end, you'll look like a beauty. Image that has been professionally framed - as opposed to one that has been stuffed into a standard cheap one.

I can't live without it… A modern toner that will brighten skin without the scour< p class="dcr-3jlghf">Many of us have been taught that our skincare routine should follow very specific steps: cleanse, tone, moisturize. Back then, toner was key. We were all brainwashed into using toners. They were supposed to clean and tighten our pores, remove debris left behind by our cleansers, and balance our skin. Toners were skincare. But that was really an oxymoron. Yes, we used them on our skin, but the toners were definitely not “skin care”. They were hard, they stung, they stripped. It was like putting alcohol on our skin. Which, frankly, we were. And so, eventually, we all came to our senses and the toners fell out of favor. Now they are making a comeback. Fortunately, they have evolved from their predecessors. New formulations no longer deplete the skin so intensely that you look like a prune. They are much more sophisticated and multifaceted. I love using this toner from Bliss after cleansing because it unclogs pores and removes excess oil, dead skin cells, and residue from your cleanser – making your skincare so much more effective. The star ingredient here is niacinamide. Not only does it help tighten the appearance of pores, but it also has skin-smoothing abilities and protects the skin from environmental aggressors. But it's not aggressive. Because, unlike its previous incarnations, it contains no alcohol. That in itself is bliss. Bliss Disappearing Act Niacinamide PC + Pore Vanish Micro Purifying Toner, £12.99, boots.com
