Givenchy presents a new capsule collection on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Walt Disney Co.

Givenchy and Disney have teamed up for a new capsule collection featuring Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, acknowledging the Lunar New Year and 100 years of Disney.

Created by Disney and its studio artists and known as the precursor to Mickey Mouse, Oswald is a first in the history of character animation. Earlier this month, Walt Disney Animation Studios premiered an all-new Oswald short for the first time in nearly 95 years.

Matthew Williams, Creative Director of Givenchy, worked with Disney to create a "one-of -a-kind world tour" that merges Oswald's playful and energetic spirit with his own aesthetic for Givenchy in a capsule that captures the spirit of adventure.

Oswald's campaign and world tour will come to life in a co-produced mixed reality short film with Walt Disney Animation Studios and art director and photographer Julian Klincewicz. The journey begins at the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles and passes through Shanghai, New York, Tokyo and Paris, where Oswald ends up at the Maison Givenchy.

Capsule women's pieces include a blue varsity jacket with white sleeves with Givenchy lettering and Paris that accentuates the placements showing Oswald the lucky rabbit offering a flower to his beloved, Ortensia. In a bright red oversized shirt and sporty cropped ensemble, Oswald appears riding a horse in white framed in bandana-style prints. There is also denim where the two characters return, this time in graffiti-like treatments such as multicolored patterns on a denim jacket with Givenchy lettering and its 4G logo, and on jeans adorned with musical quarter notes and eighth notes. The capsule is completed with t-shirts in pink, white, black or tie-dye red and black, while hoodies, tank tops and sweatpants incorporate the stylized 4G emblem in a heart and the Magic Kingdom in off-hook white.
