Gwen Stefani isn't just a badass rock star and judge on "The Voice," she's also a proud mom. Stefani shares three sons with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale: Kingston, Zuma and Apollo. Although the "Rich Girl" singer and Rossdale divorced in 2015, they continue to co-parent their sons, while her new husband, country singer Blake Shelton, has taken on the role of stepfather.
In a 2021 episode of DJ Khaled's podcast "The First One," Stefani opened up about how much she loved being a mom. "All I ever wanted was to have kids," she said. "I have this amazing mom. And my parents are still married, and they were an incredible example of true love and respect. And you have that growing up, it's like, 'I want this to be my mom when I'll be grown up. So to finally have kids at 36 after having this amazing, weird life that I never expected was really amazing but really hard. And definitely the hardest thing I've ever had. never done in my life is to have children.
The Grammy winner also said she's happy to be a boy mom. "I'm so grateful to have them and I was able to have three boys," she continued. "I don't know why God chose me to be around boys all my life, but here I'm just surrounded by them and I feel really blessed. It's really fun."
