Harry and Meghan: That sigh of relief? This is the Palace watching Netflix

Are Prince Harry and Meghan victims of an oppressive royal system? Or are they the millionaire moaners of Montecito?

However the audience watches their TV show, there will be a group of delighted viewers - and that's to Buckingham Palace and the rest of the Royal Family.

They might be a bit frosty in the series, portrayed as unable to kiss and to marry for the wrong reasons. But there are no real bombs or direct hits and nothing specific about individuals.

Rather than looking for their lawyers, they go looking for the family therapists.

If this is the start of Harry and Meghan's winter offensive - Netflix until Christmas, then Prince Harry's memoir over the new year - it started with something approaching a truce.

The series threatened to be a telltale tale of why Prince Harry and Meghan felt that they had to step down from their royal duties. But that inside story hasn't yielded much insider information so far.
