Man Utd vs Man City: Gundogan predicts EPL Derby at Old Trafford
Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has said Saturday's derby will be their biggest test in recent years.
Pep Guardiola's men travel to Old Trafford days after being knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Southampton.
Since their 2-1 victory over Liverpool in August, no team has won more points than United in the Premier League.
The Red Devils have amassed 35 points and sit fourth in the standings.
"United are in a very good moment at the moment, full of confidence, they are hungry, they want to win.
"It looks like it's starting to snap between them so it's going to be a very tough game - probably the toughest Manchester derby game for us in recent years.
"Going to Old Trafford is always special, it's going to be really tough, and we need a much better performance," Gundogan said.
City are second on the log, five points behind leaders Arsenal.
