A new report from Variety indicates that several contestants from the reality series required medical attention on Monday, January 23 while participating in a version of Red Light Green Light during the first day of production on the reality competition.

Medical care came as a cold snap in the UK was seen as a shock to the system. Temperatures were below zero while filming the game, according to the report. Filming took place inside an old aircraft hangar, which was closed, but according to reports, it was still extremely cold.

Variety reported fewer than five people needed medical attention, including one person who injured his shoulder after hitting a wall. The show's producers told Variety that no one was taken out on a stretcher, closing reports on this event.

A report from The Sun previously stated that some contestants said they couldn't move their feet and heard someone shout "doctor" during filming on several occasions.
