Rema teams up with Selena Gomez for 'Calm Down' remix

Selena Gomez and Rema's collab is finally here! After teasing the track for days on social media, the duo released the remix of Rema's hit "Calm Down" on August 25, complete with an animated lyric video.

Gomez first announced the collab on August 23 when she shared a snippet of the visual on Instagram, writing, "Brand new @heisrema 'Calm Down' release coming 8/26 so excited for this one!" The video also featured a clip of Gomez and Rema meeting backstage at his "Rave & Roses" tour earlier this month. It is not known when the official music video will be released.

"Calm Down" is the second single from Rema's debut studio album, "Rave & Roses", following his single "Soundgasm". Meanwhile, Gomez is gearing up to release her fourth studio album. No other project details have been announced at this time, but Gomez is considering a tour to accompany the album. "I'm open to touring, one thousand percent, but obviously I have obligations and things I want to do, so when the time is right," she previously said on John Hoffman and Anthony D'Alessandro's Deadline's "Crew Call" podcast. "It's not the top of my priority list."
