StreetFoodz Naija Redefines "King of Street Food" Reality Documentary Series for Third Edition
Launched in 2019, FoodBay Tv, the organizers of Nigeria's Foremost docu-reality cooking competition series, which showcases the best of Nigeria's street food delights, has announced that it is set to launch the third season of "StreetFoodz Naija".
Tagged 'The Redefinition', the winner of this year's Season 3 contest dubbed 'King of Street Food' is due to return home with a colossal sum of N10 million. The docu-reality series focuses exclusively on street food takeaways in Nigeria with the aim of showcasing and empowering street foodpreneurs.
While answering questions about the story of empowering street ‘food takers’, Oluwafemi Ogundoro, Managing Director of FoodBay Tv, noted that the reality show Street Foodz Naija was conceived in the urge to present the street food sector which is not often talked about.

According to him, “These guys are responsible for feeding over 100 million Nigerians a day. They are our champions. In this era of global food security, why don’t we celebrate them? is FoodBay Tv. We are at the forefront of this battle. We are cultivating people's minds, taking them beyond the country's shores. It's about empowering Africans to believe in themselves and believe in what they have for food and produce and then export it to the rest of the world. Street food is that food that crosses all economic classes.
Ogundoro revealed that apart from the next 'street food king' returning home with N10 million, the winner will also receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Dubai. In addition, the first runner-up and the second runner-up receive five million naira respectively.
Organizers revealed that the event will take place simultaneously in Abuja and Lagos, adding that registration closes on August 6.
