Teachers will decide who will lead the Kogi-NUT chair

Nigeria Union of Teachers Kogi State Chairman Joel Salifu has said teachers will decide who will lead the state in 2023 after Governor Yahaya Bello takes office.

Salifu said this at a press conference on Saturday.

He said state teachers are now better informed to choose a leader who will serve their interests.

The NUT Chairman said: 'We will decide who will come to serve us and lead us in the state. We have the numbers.

“The experience we have had has prepared us enough to decide who will lead us in Kogi State in 2023, especially with our people.

"The voice of state teachers would be heard loud and clear in the 2023 general election."

He advised teachers to collect their permanent voter cards and vote during the elections, as it was the only way for them to decide their fate and ensure better working conditions.
