The Last Thing He Told Me About Aisha Tyler: The Show Will Reveal Why Jules and Hannah Are 'So Close' (Exclusive)

Everyone has a Jules in their life. stars as Jules in the new Apple TV+ series The Last Thing He Told Me, based on Laura Dave's bestselling novel. Jules is Hannah's childhood best friend who is a major support when Hannah's husband goes missing.

HollywoodLife spoke EXCLUSIVELY with Aisha about the show, and she revealed that there will be "more Jules on the show than there is. there were some in the book". The show will explore "more of that solid relationship" between Jules and Hannah.

She added, "Jules loves Hannah like a friend loves someone he's known his whole life. They've been through a lot and we can see that on the show We see where they're from, why they're so close, and why their bond is so special. Even at the end of the show, and I'm not giving any spoilers, I think you just see that they're family. That shortcut and that relationship is really a big part of what keeps Hannah going and helps her understand what happened with Owen."

Hannah is played by Jennifer Garner. Aisha revealed that Jules is brutally honest with Hannah because of how long they've known each other. "I think Jules says to me right away, 'Look, I could make you feel better but it's not going to help you. I have to tell you the truth. I have to tell you what's really going on here. It's not 'doesn't look good for Owen, and it doesn't look good for you.'"

She continued, "We all need that kind of friend in our lives who isn't going to beat around the bush…Jules really is like a rock and a strength to move on She says, 'We're going to work this out together because at this point we're family, and I'm going to take care of you like a family member would, which is not to make you exploding with smoke.'”
